BLM! 2 Views. Sadio Mane has stated he doesn't need a mansio

Fri Aug 14, 2020 9:19 am

Just seen this on FB

BLM! 2 Views. Sadio Mane has stated he doesn't need a mansion, fancy sports car, diamond encrusted watches. He has donated £200,000 to build a hospital, and £250,000 to finance a school in his home town in Senegal. He also gives 70 Euro to every person in Bambelli Senegal.
Lewis Hamilton,to show his slave ancestors, wears a chain and padlock around his neck and takes the knee at the F1 Grand Prix. He will then take his £40 million salary off shore to his mansion in Monaco.

As with a lot of these people it's a case of look at me I am standing up for my fellow suppressed people but doesn't get out there and help them... manè is like a lot of African footballers they routinely donate or put back into their communities without any fuss. Hamilton is just alienating people from F1 with his attack on other drivers/ ex drivers like sir Jackie Stewart! Hamilton to far up his own arse now...

Fair play to Sadio Mane. He came from an extremely poor background and very commendable that he recognises things could have gone very differently for him.

Lewis Hamilton is just a prick and has been for as long as I can remember.

Can’t stand Lewis Hamilton. How he gets so much media attention is beyond me.

I’m far from a fan of Hamilton’s, but he does do a fair bit of charity work. He has his own foundation that is a pretty big funder if great ormond street Hospital apparently. He also does a lot of charity work and donates to several causes in Africa.

He’s a bit of a bell end. But it’s unfair to not mention his charitable contributions, whether financially or personally and paint him out to be someone who only cares about his own wealth. He’s well known for staying in every country he races in a few extra days and meet the local community, both wealthy and poor

I very much get that Hamilton comes across as a prick. He really does.

However I have a friend whose sister works for Mercedes as their phys instructor for the engineers. Apparently Hamilton is as good as gold. Remembers names, friendly word for everyone. At the end of the British Grand Prix they have beers for all the workers in tent city and LH always goes along and brings a lorry load of beer along. Doesn’t get publicised so much as the bad stuff.

The British love to bring down their elite sportsmen and women. We have to realise that to get to this level they have to be a certain personality.

Talking of BLM, I was shocked to read a story yesterday, about a woman who was offended by what she called, covert racism
She has taken offence at one of marks and Spencer bras being described as tobacco colour, whoch she says is offensive to blacks, because the connatation of tobacco being a bad thing, thus giving the image of blacks being associated with something that is frowned upon! I come from a mix race family, and not once have I heard someone describe a peron of colour, as tobacco? ,M&S have given in,and are going to remove the name, even though spokesman said the bra colours were chosen from a paint pallette, and were not meant as to be seen as a skin colour, just a colour nothing else.but they are keeping the chocolate colour,as the complainer says that's OK, cos everyone sees chocolate as something sweet and nice .what's next ffs! :old: :bluebird:

Shite like this takes the focus from real racism.

Sorry to see that a serious message is now being turned into a farce and so soon after being used as a weapon to stir up unrest in everyday life.
As for Hamilton, fair plays to his charity work, but there is absolutely no need for him to wear a chain and padlock apart from " look at me, look at me ". Did he have to beg on the streets for his first go- kart? No daddy bought it.

It would be nice if Hamilton would stayed in the UK a bit longer and paid UK tax. Hamilton might have a Charitable Foundation named after him but that doesn't mean he is funding it from his own pocket. It just means he endorses the Foundation and 'helps' with fund raising.

IMO the guy is a complete race baiting tax dodging pick. He doesn't hold a candle to other black sportsmen like Sadio Mane and Marcus Rashford who have both given back to their local communities and haven't forgotten their roots and also pay UK tax.

Mo Farah has been turned on due to alleged drug issues. Tyson Fury has been a target for a long time due to his beliefs.

Hamilton's Dad remortgaged his house to help his son succeed. Wearing a chain and padlock around his neck to insinuate he has been oppressed spits in the face of his father's sacrifice and hardwork in my opinion.

He may be a race baitor, personally I think he is just a very, very ungrateful.

He's a short black bloke with a chip on shoulder. God knows why. Obviously a spoilt brat.

He now sees his unpopularity in the UK as a chance to jump on this racist and disgusting rabble to be a part of something.

Sad little man.

Both pilloried in the press which then gets taken on by the masses.

Like I said in an earlier post I think that a lot of the issues come from the press as the people are probably decent. What I have heard about Hamilton is that he is from people who have met him. They build them up then knock them down.

With Hamilton a lot of the BLM stuff is separate. People have disliked him long before that reared its ugly head.
