Hard to disagree with that as they ain't got a pot to piss in and the fans know it. What next, collection buckets to bail the inbreds out again.
They will be lucky to spend £15 with the Americans wanting their share. Read it and weep planet swamp :bluebird:

They are making comment son there like they know anything about football! About time they buggered off back to the third tier where they belong. I don't think they'll have enough players next season to make a squad of 18.

Signed smith from Bristol city on a freebie! Resigned woodman on loan... and trying to replace other 5 players who have gone back to their clubs after loan period ended...

Never used to give the unwashed much thought, but after reading how smug they were a few years ago in the PL when we went red in particular, I actually hope they follow wigan down the leagues and out of business. Such horrible fans, never even mingle on Wales away trips, who’d miss them?

Sounds like they have got bit of a rebuild on their hands. I think they had 5 people on loan and 5 out of contract - not sure if any renewed.

Not sure how I feel about Ayew being there. He is pretty much guaranteed to get around 20 goals in this league so they would clearly struggle without him if he left. But then his massive wages are crippling the club financially. maybe a loan while they cover 50% of his wages would be best. They lose their best player but still have to pay 35k+ a week in wages!

6 on loan goalie coming back smith in so 4 short there... several left after contracts ended routledge extended contract 1 year.. so at moment at least 6 players short from end season ... they are hoping brewster returns but pool thinking of putting him in 1st team squad! Ayew good at this level but cant really afford hom so time will tell if keep him..

Pretty much sums it up, fella!

I have never read Planet Swamp (never will) but reports indicate their fans are now more balanced than ever before; as they now have a chip on both shoulders! :laughing6:

The Wurzel signed for them after Ashley Williams told him what a great stadium, great fans and a great place to live !!!

Shame is Smith headed too far down the M4 as Williams was talking about playing for Wales at Cardiff :D

Some really dreadful posts on there but my favourite was "100% proof they have zero interest in changing the way they play."

Seeing as the "way we play" got us higher in the table than Swansea then you bet we will continue to play that way  :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

I have only read Planet Swamp a couple times over the past decade and the above link is the first time in years. It amazes me how they think they are clever using the generic term 'Scum' as an insult which is so overused by football fans all over the country it has lost all currency as a wind up/insult.

It was also pleasing to see they have a version of our Roathie a poster called Benny who seems to be there just to wind them up, derail threads and show how 'intelligent' he is.

Heard rumours they could be in big trouble soon if they don’t offload Ayew who costs them 5 million a year. My heart bleeds. To see them back in league 2 where they belong would be better than promotion to the PL, which lets face it, is never that great.

We live in hope Chris! I think the new design makes it look gloomy and hard to read - no change there then! :thumbright:

Let's hope the rumour is true! Strangely I was wondering a couple of days ago about Ayew and according to a quick Google search he costs Swansea £71,000pw in wages

Half way through the season they got relegated from the Premier most of their fans expected them to drop to League one, that being a double relegation. Well it never happened and in fact nearly got promoted back to the Premier.

For this season the club seem to be bigging it up that its going to be even harder for them. I think they are trying to get back to where they were when they started their rise to the Premier. They claimed they were a model club and lets be honest here that showed in this climb to the Premier. Obviously they want to get bak to that status while still in the Championship. I see elements of then going the right way to achieve that but will it be enough to keep them in the Championship? We will see.

If either of those figures are anywhere near being correct you’re looking at a minimum of £3.7 million a year. Bonkers

Swansea bigged up their model club status and then became a boil on the premier league's arse. f**k 'em.
