Is there any coincidence in Neil Harris statement when he mentioned the football ethic to the area being very important to the fans.I believe Moore will get better backing because he is in the Welsh set up than maybe other players even if he starts off slow.
I for one love a Welsh player in a City shirt and vice versa.

It would also be a good loan for him too, not just us.

From what I've seen he's got everything he needs to succeed as a holding midfield player and, despite Bacuna having a great season, we could do with strengthening in there. Ampadu is now at the stage where he needs to get regular games under his belt

Inaki Williams would be another amazing, Welsh loan signing from Liverpool. In a position we need to strengthen too, right back.

My memory is a bit dodgy but I'm sure we had games in League 1 cancelled due to international call ups.

yes indeed, though Margetson is stretching it a bit, he did play games but was never what you would call 1st choice... and in the big scheme of things having a large contingent did not last very long.... going back to our very first league game and the 27 cup final , Scottish manager and teams full of non welshmen.. Wales does not and has not produced enough of roughly the same quality to have a decent sized core at a club... you end up sort of with above.. a couple good enough to play at a higher club who will be snapped up and a couple you think you can improve on who you replace and who then go in the other direction..

Me too, certainly makes a bit more sense singing welsh songs to welsh players, welsh flags when we travel away , we absolutely must have some welsh players out there, even if quite a few of them these days are as Welsh as a zebra. I agree with the poster who says that we can't produce enough good players to have a welsh heavy squad, even Klopp said recently his dream is a squad full of scousers, that won't happen , all clubs want a team of their own kind, a true representation of where your from, and in a perfect world there would be rules in place to make it mandatory, if that was the case teams like West Ham, Southamptonetc would be playing in Europe. Difference with us welsh teams, we don't want just players from our area, but our country

yep but its a small nation... if you look at Wales and England population combined we account for roughly 1/20 th... so if all was level and even a premier team full of welshmen.. only the prem squads are half foreign, so half a team of welshmen at that level... which is where we are i think...
i keep reading academy complaints but the reality is as a nation let alone a club apart from a couple of clusters we have never produced numbers...
