Our first season back in the Championship 1,394 Cardiff City averaged Away , 12th in the Championship with away support.

The Fulham figure is less than impressive

Considering we’re probably in the top 5 for furthest distance needed to travel that’s not bad.

pretty sure i read we had 3rd most miles behind Boro and Swansea... another disadvantage is many of our closer games have small away ends or we are restricted where as places up north like barnsley , wigan , blackburn you can takes almost as many as you want which is great if your 50 miles away..

Totally agree with you on this on all points. If we were unrestricted at Swansea, imagine the following we would have. We also had what would have been two of our largest followings at Fulham and the Worzels played behind closed doors.

3rd sounds about right. The only other clubs that spring to mind for similar distances are Hull and Wigan.
Also worth noting 1300 might not be as high as people think we deserve but we sold out a lot of away ends. WBA, Luton, Swansea, Reading, Brentford. Those are all the ones I can think of but potentially a few more, no doubt Fulham and Bristol would’ve both sold out.

Your right the only club in the Premier League , who has to sell to neutrals as they can’t fill their own 24,000 stadium, very sad.
