0.005% chance of dying under 65 of covid

Wed Aug 12, 2020 10:42 am

Okay so...
This graph right here from the Office of National Statistics says if you are UNDER the age of 65 you have around a 0.005% of dying from Covid-19. Please just read that a couple of times and let that sink in.

EVEN if you are between 65 and 80 that percentage only goes up to 0.35%!!
0.35% of dying.

Can someone please explain to me why there are people losing their businesses, their jobs, their lives are being destroyed for something with those statistics online for everyone to see?????

Please somebody tell me when the worlds governments are going to stop treating us like children, let us take our own risks where we see fit, and save our economy because this scaremongering quite frankly is beyond a joke and there are people still genuinely scared

I think it’s that low because of all the measures in place. Go bank to ‘normal’ and my guess is it will start to rise again.

And yet Wez the latest facts show that most people today testing positive for Covid19 are under the age of 50 I will wait until the winter comes before I believe any more statistics, then we will see how the under 50's fare. What I will say is that it is not so much under 50's dying of Covid19, but them passing it on to older people

the stats regarding who is dying really havent changed much throughout... the total amount of deaths goes up as they do of all causes.. { proper not helped by the lockdown when 40k were killed } but its been mostly very old with existing illnesses. first in China then in Italy and everywhere else just followed suit. there has never been anything but a very small percentage of younger people who have died anywhere..

your either dead or you survived mate.... seriously . the vast majority of positives are people who are not ill , or have very mild symptoms who just get told to isolate ..plus there are probably millions had it ,were asymptomatic ,never tested who just went on with their lives...so where do you start unless you have a widespread anti body test..
