Snooker / Ronnie O'Sullivan

Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:50 pm

Anyone been watching the Snooker World Championship?

It's the last session of Mark Williams v Ronnie O'Sullivan in the Quarter Finals finals tonight from 7pm, with the score at 8-8. Williams was 7-2 up at one point. The winner will play Mark Selby.

Anthony McGills and Kurt Maflin also resume their Quarter Final with McGill 10-6 up. The winner of that match will play Kyren Wilson.

Noticed comments that Ronnie O'Sullivan made the other night after getting through to the Quarter Finals, when he was asked if he was surprised that he and Mark Williams were still competing at the very top all these years later:

"The young players that have come through are so bad, they would be probably do well as half decent amateurs - not even ameteurs. I would probably have to lose an arm and a leg to fall outside the top 50."

Video below.

If William's had plotted that black in last frame he was back It, cracking game

William's o'Sullivan Higgins are still at it, fairplay.

It may not suprise you but I like his & Keane's honesty in a day and age where certain speech is deemed a crime :D :bluescarf:

Ronnie is the best player to ever pick up a q, I dont always like or agree in what he says but I respect his honesty

Noone will beat his 147 time record,

Agree in his status  but he needs to behave when he is admired/revered by so many youngsters, yes he is so good,he is no doubt better than the younger players he talks about, but hope would you like it,if say your boy was in the city set up,with what seems a future in his chosen field, only for a better player to come out and say he is shit, along with the rest of my the youngsters?? As spiderman's grandfather says"with great power, comes an even greater responsibility" just my view anyway mate, and no,I wasn't surprised at your comments  :old: :bluebird:

Garbage? Would you play him for money? The man's just got through to the final of the biggest snooker tournament there is, and you call him garbage. :banghead:

Wouldn’t lace the shoes from Barry snooker local legend Tim “Nimblett” Rimbacher who is fantastic and hit a 148 on the table last week
