20K a week!! That’s a bit steep. As I said in an earlier thread, maybe he needs to be off the wage bill before someone (Moore) comes in.

Good Luck to the Lad - Always gave his all and ran his socks off when he got the call ;)

Put the money towards an effort to re-sign Aaron Ramsey, Juventus don't want him. No fee involved so just a matter of paying his wages. Surely he'll want to come, he is one of us after all, and what a statement of intent that would send out Thoughts?

Massive amount off our wage bill. He got a few important goals for us, but not worth those wages.

Gave his all whenever he was on the pitch though so good luck to him.

????? .. your post sounded as if we had to get rid of one before signing other...

Way to much money obviously would be very surprised if his new club is offering even half that. However if we don't sign Moore we are looking decidedly weak up front.

No complaints about Ward at all always gave 100% and was unlucky with injuries. Wish him all the best in the future

Decent player on his day. However, assuming £20k a week is an accurate figure, it could be put to much better use elsewhere.

I wasn’t being clever mate, I genuinely forgot he was a free agent now. The ‘Doh’ was aimed at myself

Scored some important goals over the past few seasons, although the only good game he’s had when he started was Arsenal at CCS last season.

Good luck to him!

20k a week - no wonder he always had a smile on his face ffs. Why do we pay stupid money just for players to sit on the bench.

Post covid - I think players will be given a choice , pay cut or transfer immediately just to get them off the wage bill.

For 20k a week Im sure we could get in 2 or 3 of the best ones from the academy.

Well if he'll be happy to take a wage cut of about £100-150k per week and settle for a regular supply of Clark's pies instead to help clinch the deal then why not.

f*cking hell, Ramsey. Now that would be one hell of an ambitious signing
To be fair he’s a multi millionaire and doesn’t need any more cash and we are his boyhood club I suppose. Who knows, maybe Rambo is coming home :D
