Cornelius doing well for Parma in Italy

He's on loan there from Atalanta, where he didn't do very well. Initially went on loan from them to Bordeaux but struggled there.
12 goals in 25 games this season for Parma, which is a decent return.
We signed him to play in the Premier League - there's a big difference in quality between the Premier League and Serie A.
You just have to look at Romelu Lukaku who was OK for Manchester United but is doing a lot better for Inter Milan.
I don't think Andreas Cornelius was ever good enough for the Premier League but can do well in Italy. I guess there's no way to prove he couldn't do well in the Premier League though, as we didn't get many to find out!
Will go down as probably our worst ever signing.

(not me) I thought we re sold acorn for 3m? And paid 8m plus a massive 45k a week in wages to boot!! Although madine failed to score a solitary goal,I'm sure his wage was nowhere near 4tk? So acorn does still hold the title,and hopefully we don't waste that kind of money on a player "for the futute" on the basis of he looked good on youtube!!
