I was rooting for Notts County

One because they are the oldest club in the world and 2nd because they are a real football club with a good fan base .

Harrogate , posh town , rugby and a tourist town .

Notts County home support this season and regularly took over 2,000 fans away this season gone.

Agree with you Annis, would have much preferred to see Notts County back in the league. A club with a lot of history.

Good luck to Harrogate though. They may find it tough next season unless they spend a fair amount of money (like Salford had to). I think the gap between Non-League and League Two is getting bigger.

Yes Ned, really would of loved Notts County.

Clubs like Harrogate & Salford are just buying their way up , with no real fan bases and once their rich owners go they will just disappear and not be heard of again .

Notts County also have an impressive old-style ground

If I am correct, Harrogate used to be the biggest town in England never to have had a club in the 92. Obviously changed now but they must be so reliant on owner's money as there is no real fan base there

I would have loved to have seen Notts county get back in the EFL but it was not to be for now.

It has a fairly big fan base here considering it is up against one of the biggest clubs in England. Even so what I like about the area is how the forest fans will rally around the County when their smaller neightbour is financially struggling. County were about to go into adminstration around 15 years ago and were saved by over 1,000 forest fans going to watch them. Very much would happen to Burton Albion if they had financial troubles but this time replace Forest with Derby fans.

Its the way it should be.
