I work with a (female) Bristol City season ticket holder who said much the same thing, although their match didn't have the kick-off brought forward.

The verbal abuse alone towards the ordinary family supporters was pretty shocking, never mind the other skirmishes amongst those looking for a fight, and this was from someone who is no shrinking violet!

This has the potential to be disastrously bad publicity for the club which we could do without.

There is bad blood between the Shitheads and Millwall when a Bristol City fan deliberately ran over a millwall fan killing him many years ago. Because of that BCFC V MFC has been a war zone.
As for us i bet the Bushwhackers will be a tad unsure especially after what happened to them here 10 years ago.

Hope there is not trouble to come back onto the club - all the hard work with the signings and the serious atitude they are taking towards the automatic spots - we don't want anything that could end up ruining things!

My uncle works undercover for Thames Valley Police, used to do motorway patrol, then surveilance, then training the armed forces in recconaisance and surveilance, now he travels the country undercover with football crowds, and with the general police.

Interestingly, there is a big squad from his dept. in Thames Valley police being sent to Cardiff from Berkshire working undercover and mingling with both crowds of fans.

I've seen his work and what they do, anyone who gets involved in trouble during this game will eventually get a knock on the door!!
