Man Utd to make transfer decision on James Garner this week with Cardiff City and Swansea City both keen

So, this was the big update yesterday...

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will make a decision on the future of James Garner this week, with both Cardiff City and Swansea City reportedly keen on landing the midfielder.

The United academy product has impressed Solskjaer and his staff this season and has been rewarded with a number of first-team outings.

The 19-year-old made four Europa League appearances and also featured fleetingly in the Red Devils' Premier League and Carabao Cup campaigns.

But it is thought the midfielder would benefit from a season out on loan gaining regular game time and the Championship appears the most logical place for him to progress next term.

And, according to the Daily Mail, former Bluebirds boss Solskjaer is set to make a decision on the England youth international's future this week.

After the abuse our away fans gave Ole at Old Trafford at the end of last season he'll probably be in no mood to help us out with any loans!

I was about to make a similar point.

Being sacked by the chairman he clashed with and then abused by the fans, I wonder how he will feel potentially helping the club out.

Does Ole even care that much? He managed us for about half a year and for one game out of the 250 odd games total he’s managed since and roughly 100 for United he had Cardiff fans giving him stick, no doubt he’s heard the same stuff from Liverpool, Man City and the majority of the oppositions home fans. He’s got the chance to send out a talented youngster to gain some experience, I can’t see why he would rule out the opportunity just because he got a few songs sung at him for 90mins.
