If not us?

Fri Jul 24, 2020 8:00 pm

Then who would you like to go up.? I'm assuming most on here would go for Brentford. (can the ever amiable nose poking jack, gwynti quim or whatever abstain please)

Re: If not us?

If not us then brentford as they finished 3rd.

Re: If not us?

If we don’t go up, which is probable - then I would want Cardiff to go up.

Simply because I think financially it could cripple the club to not be promoted with the court case looming. The finances of promotion will be needed more than Brentford or Fulham in my opinion.

Obviously Brentford and don't see how any Cardiff fan would want it any different given the other options are the Jacks or the arrogant knob heads that support that crap club Fulham.

Re: If not us?

Brentford, scum and Fulham last because they annoy me more.

Re: If not us?

Wouldn't begrudge Brentford promotion if we don't manage it.

They've been fantastic for most of the season and it would be a club who has never been in the Premier League getting promoted.

Re: If not us?

Would anyone answering Swansea be judged?

Brentford for me due to the style of football they play, the fact they came third and have never been in the Premier league.

This is also the reason I will feel sorry for them when we put five past them in the final and get promoted at their expense. :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Re: If not us?

Brentford, Swansea then Fulham in that order, really can't stand Fulham

Re: If not us?

Sat Jul 25, 2020 6:35 am

Brentford
Fullham
Swans

Got to be Brentford. They finished 3rd for a reason but when they trash Swansea and meet us at Wembley I think I may change my opinion. :laughing6:

your getting 2nd spot ahead of Fulham quite a bit here... personally i hate what has turned into the plastic derbies far more than i hated you lot being in the premier league... so if its not us im not much bothered and probably wont even watch the final. why people like Brentford beats me... they locked thousands of us out on boxing day one year having been told how many were coming... twats..

Can't you all see the wind up here? Yet you still humour Mr or Mrs Jack.

Sorry Skideman. Didn't mean it that way and I remember the Brentford lockout all too well. My point was a general one that I suspect that our swansea friends amiable and sporting posts are not heartfelt. Eg. He would like us to go up if not them as he's worried about our financial state otherwise. I could be wrong. Maybe he/she is a very sporting person but if so they're one in a million

i used to love playing them.. but the derbies now are so sterile i do hate them.. massive distraction , huge over reactions win or lose.. plus i can do a round trip to Madrid in less time than the liberty game..

Nothing to do with being sporting, I have no ill feeling towards Cardiff. I certainly wouldn’t want to see you go bust. I’d be far from 1 in a million in that respect.

Spot on he wants a bite on the Sala situation his favourite wind up topic  :sleepy2:

Stop being so sensitive.

Your chairman made the point it could bankrupt the club, not me. I think it’s fairly safe to say you need the money more than Fulham or Brentford.

Am I wrong then?

Sorry for late reply. £380 for the two I think. Paid in installments so not 100% sure but think it was that.

Lovely new stadium only down the road from Griffin Park and the boy gets his name etched into the brickwork which he is well chuffed about.

Will miss Griffin Park though. This season has brought back so many memories of getting the bug down the City in the 92/93 season with my Dad. Just watching it from a different perspective.

Good Times

Yes Fulham are fucked if they don't go up this year or next as FFP will come down on them hard. Brentford obviously should be fine especially as they will likely receive a fair whack whether they get promoted or not when they sell some their stars. Your also on the last year of your parachute payments next season and given some the wages your players are on will need to get rid of them.
