First time ?

I’m not a big one on keeping stats but is this season the first time all three clubs relegated from the championship ie Charlton Wigan and Hull city once held premier league status ?
Shows the state financially football is in really

Depends on the FA - Fair Play which is going on in the next few weeks - This should have been sorted by now

its rare but has happened before.. 2 out of the 3 is quite frequent though and as time goes on , assuming new clubs get promoted to the premier league occasionally { brentford could this season } the more it will happen...
i dont think its got anything to do with the financial state though.. just divisions working as they should do. 49 teams so far have played in the premier league which is more clubs than there is room for in the top 2 divisions.

This is why I don't get those that say " the division is/was weak"? In truth leeds ended up winning the title by 10 points (mainly due to others messing up)but we only lost 2 more games than them at end of season, admittedly we drew a fair few more, and we took 4 points off them  pity it wasn't them we are playing,as we are their Bogey team for sure  I don't do many stats, but 19 ! Have competed in the prem, wow! For me,this is one of the best divisions anywhere,3 points are never a certainty, which is what I love the most  not in any way saying I don't want promotion, far from it,but won't honestly be broken if we don't. C'mon city :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluebird: :old: :bluebird:

upsets is why football in general is so popular...the top division a bit less so because the top teams buy the very best players that are less of a gamble but even last year as red hot favs to finish bottom we still won 10 , 9 against teams that finished higher than us.. did not feel like that though.
