Arter and Reid

I hate it when we come up against ex-players, will they have an impact?

Dont mind arter. He was never really ours and gave 100% when he was with us on loan.

Reid however.... I'd love us to get promoted for many reasons including him having another season in the championship!

Agree on both counts,Reid engineering his exit did it for me.

No ill feeling towards Arter. Always gave 100% and one of our best players last season. We might have stood a chance of keeping him if Scott Parker didn't go to Fulham - think they're related.

Decordova-Reid is different though, the way he departed the club definitely left a bitter taste in the mouth.

Reid played very well against us a few weeks ago while Arter was sent off when we played them at home - be interesting to see how it goes with both of them in these two games.

This might have helped if the fans were there, they would have both got some stick and we could have put them off their game, but on the otherwise a lot of our players look much better without our fans pressure so maybe we are still better off?

Reid will want to come back if we go up and blame Warnock for selling him !! Hope he dogs in the championship but think he will try to swindle a move to West Brom if Fulham don't go up ( which they will not )

Never had much of a fair crack with us. I'd have him back but to be honest Mendez, Murphy and Hoilette would be ahead of him

Would be a great 10 to give Tomlin some competition if we made the Premier League, great guy, looked after my Grandson when he was a mascot in the Spurs game!

I always rated Reid....thought Warnock wasted his talent..looked good at times fir us and so did the right thing in moving on.
The new style under Harris would suit him down to the ground lime it has with Tomlin...as for Arter, loved him playing for us. ...100 percenter every game.
Reckon it will work for us them playing for Fulham ...Even more motivation for Ralls etc...

Btw Hate Fulham for the verbal crap they give us when we first got promoted....bunch of wanna bes...Prefer Brentford any day

Loved Arter when he was with us, can't stand him now. He said he wanted to stay in the Premier League hence not staying on with us, then joins Fulham. Understand Parker is his brother in law but felt a little snakey. Then people obviously forgotten our game at home against Fulham when he blatantly dived and tried to get our player booked, resulting in him being sent off. For me, that ruined it.

As for Reid, talented yes, passionate no. Never looked like wanting to be here despite the fans giving him nothing but love and respect. Hope he stays in the Championship and rots.

I'd take players with half his talent but 100% passion and commitment every time. Every lad we have there now is an example of that
