We dropped 11 points this season to the relegated team's
That is enough to have put us 2nd on 84 points
So frustrating and seems a bit of a wasted opportunity for automatic places

It is what it is, and our league position doesn’t lie. If we had started the season playing like we had at the end, then your probably right. We certainly drew to many games that’s for sure.

not really , if the clubs above us also picked up maximum points against them we would still be 5th...
Fulham dropped 11 against relegated clubs ...
WBA dropped 9 points and Leeds and Brentford dropped 8 each....

Oh come on lads,we are in the play offs, something not many of us (if we are truly honest) thought we would be in,upon the appointment of Harris as manager,it's stupid to cry over spilt milk, look at forest, and count our blessings!! I don't get the "what if" b@locks, as said above,it is what it is,this is the championship, where after today's results, proves that anyone can beat anyone,on any given day!!

OR if we hadn't gained the 7 points we did against the top 2 we wouldn't even be in the play-offs.
Very few teams in our league take maximum points off all the sides that are relegated. Remember when we were promoted to the PL in 2013, the bottom club Peterborough did the double over us. These things happen all the time so it's very much a case of accruing as many points as possible against each team and see where it gets you. No point looking back saying 'what if'.
