Hull City manager Grant McCann: "It’s still mathematically possible we can stay up, albeit very small. We need to win at Cardiff and hope results go our way elsewhere.
“(It's) Everyone’s fault. It’s mine, the players, everyone connected inside the training ground. We are where we are for a lot of different reasons but we haven’t been good enough on the pitch.
“Just not winning enough games from the end of January onwards. We’ve been really poor. We’ve been disappointing but we’ve still got a chance. We’ve got to go to Cardiff and try to get a result.”

Captain Jordy de Wijs was one of three surprise names dropped to the bench against Luton, alongside Reece Burke and George Long. Fans want to see De Wijjs recalled to start alongside Ryan Tafazolli at centre-back, with Callum Elder keeping his spot on the left of the back four.
In midfield, fans want to see Leonardo Da Silva Lopes return to the midfield three after recently featuring at right-back, where they hope he will be partnered by George Honeyman and Dan Batty.
Two changes would come in attack this evening in the most popular XI as voted for by fans. Youth and energy is the theme, as supporters want Keane Lewis-Potter and James Scott to start alongside Mallik Wilks in the three-man attack, a double switch that would see Josh Magennis and Tom Eaves miss out.
