Brighton boss defiant on White future
Brighton and Hove Albion boss Graham Potter has reiterated his stance on Leeds United loanee Ben White, and insists the youngster remains in his plans for next season.
White has caught the eye at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa, playing in every single game of their successful push for promotion to the Premier League.
Several top flight clubs, including champions Liverpool, have been mentioned as possible suitors this summer, and it seems Leeds themselves haven't given up hope on securing a permanent deal.
But SussexLive report that when asked what his comment would be in regards to the speculation, Potter gave a frank response.
He replied: "That he's contracted with us and that he's on loan at Leeds.
“He's our player. It's fantastic he's had this year with Leeds. Everybody won in that, Ben got some great experience. Leeds achieved their goal of promotion.
"But we rate him highly.”
