EXCLUSIVE: Cardiff defender heading back to Scotland for third spell
TEAMtalk

Northern Ireland international defender Ciaron Brown is heading back to Livingston for a third time, TEAMtalk understands.

Brown, 22, has impressed for Livi in two previous loan spells from Championship side Cardiff City.

Rival clubS in the Scottish Premiership and England were keen on striking a deal with Cardiff. But Brown has agreed to return to Almondvale for a third spell.

Central defender Brown will now return to Livi on-loan, initially until January.

After that the two clubs will again look at the situation.

This is a mistake.
It was a good move first time but now he needs to step up in quality and should be going to another lower championship team or a big league 1 club. I'm sure there would be a load that would take him as he's a good player.

If he is impressing up there why isn't he given a chance here? I know standards are poorer but either give him a go or get him off the books! ( Unless they are paying all his wages )

I think this is a good move. He needs as much first team football as he can get and the Scottish premier is a reasonably good standard he can only benifit from playing there rather than wasting time in our under 23s who are not even playing games.Hopefully he will come back a much better player from the experience.Morrison and Nelson are both playing really well at the moment though they could both do with a rest. Hopefully if we secure a playoff place today we can rest both though it usually never works out that easy.

He should be getting a chance at playing with our first team he will end up like Ajeyi not getting a chance here before ending up at a bigger club than us eventually.
