The Champions League is the Champions League but La Liga makes me happier, because La Liga is what it's all about - Zinedine Zidane, 16th March 2020



The Real Madrid manager has said that he saviours the La Liga title this year more than the Champions League titles that Real Madrid have achieved.



With Cardiff City, what would you appreciate more?

Domestic achievements or European achievements?

For example, if we won the Premier League and won the Champions League which would you be more happy about?

Mine would be the Premier League. To win your domestic league is the pinnacle in my opinion, which is why I oppose any sort of European Super League.



Obviously an entirely hypothetical question. Can't see us being in that position ever - although you never know, after Leicester City were Premier League champions in 2016 and made the Champions League quarter finals in 2017.

Domestic League.. think the value has gone from the Champions League, to many naff games. Better when it was the European Cup..

Champions League for me. The one off game, The Cardiff City players lifting the cup as the Champions League anthem plays and the chance to beat some of Europe's biggest sides. And to call yourself the champions of Europe would be great. However im not fussy id take either
