" Cardiff City can seal a play-off place on Saturday "

Wed Jul 15, 2020 7:00 pm

Following the midweek results, Cardiff City can seal a play-off place this weekend.

Cardiff City will be guaranteed a play-off spot if we beat Middlesbrough, and if Millwall fail to beat QPR and Swansea fail to beat Bristol City.

I think you are being a bit optimistic thinking we only want one win as Millwall and the Jacks are likely to get two wins! Let’s face it if we can’t beat two sides in relegation trouble do we deserve to reach playoffs! Fingers crossed, let’s do it in style!

I'm not saying what I expect to happen, I'm saying what can happen.

We will be guaranteed a play-off place if we win this weekend, and Millwall and Swansea don't.

Swans got Bristol who are good on break and have improved immensely since we played them 3 wins a draw, so wont be easy to win for swans who must win realistically .. millwall expect to win but always optimistic they'll lose.. if not goal difference be decisive we are 1 up at moment but scored lots more if level on pointsand GD :D

I have a horrible feeling this will be settled on goal difference with us and Millwall.
We will draw with boro and beat Hull
They will win both games
Only one goal is the difference between both teams but that would be wiped out with 2 wins for Millwall.
We may need to beat hull by a few goals on the last day.

Would be brilliant to get it done this weekend then we can put out a 2nd string against Hull and give our 1st team a weeks breather.

Jacks will be lucky to get one win from their last two games most likely two draws. It’s between us and Millwall it’s that simple. Hopefully QPR do us a favour.

My worry is Warnock knows all our players and wurzels got nothing to play for but scum will be fully fired up.

Good call but other clubs may need hull to lose so unfortunately city cannot put out reserve team but could rest crucial players instead

Can’t see the Jacks winning both games

They were out on their feet second half at Forest and really lucky to get a point

Brewster looked completely knackered and went off after being a virtual passenger second half. Naughten suspended after his red card

My honest opinion of Millwall is that they are not a very good side and they also won’t win both their games

3pts will do it for us :ayatollah:

Millwall love a 1-0 win as I have already stated Jacks got no chance. Hopefully QPR do us a favour and then your right 3 points would be enough be nice to not have to go down to a nervy last day.

The main team we are looking at is Millwall. If Millwall lose and we win we will be in the play-offs because both Swansea AND Preston cant get more points than Cardiff.
