In Magaluf hundreds of Brits, drunk, running up the streets, falling over , stopping the traffic, abusing passer byes.
We had one of the Strictest Quarantines lockdowns in the World over here in Mallorca, we are still virtually zero on the virus, but sadly Mallorca needed tourists to survive, but we dont need the idiots to return, I honestly would rather ban the Uk if this is going to be a nightly event, as the virus is still very active from the Uk and mainland Spain.
I have seen the videos

THERE IS STILL A VIRUS OUT THERE A KILLER ONE.
I hope the GUARDIA CIVIL Batter and lick everyone of them up .

Unfortunately the World is full of them.
Science people are worried we may have another surge?
I think that’s a definite, a month ago Melbourne had only 2 new cases and now they are in a 6 week lockdown. They followed the rules better than us and it still struck.
It’s come to the situation whereby everyone needs to look after themselves!
It’s all about money and getting everything going again I’m sure viruses don’t think like that.

Why is it that it's always the minority of mindless idiots who f**k it up for the majority. Absolute disgrace.
Sat Jul 11, 2020 9:55 am
It sure ain’t right but it’s alway happened...I was a 70s teenager and the scrapping in Barry etc was always on and in the 80s , it was the norm in Spain on hols.
I remember Brits fighting with Germans and Dutch ...all ore arranged for a Saturday night...
Like I said it ain’t right and there[*] was no pandemic then but sometimes if you want tourists, you have to expect this to happen.....and don’t forget what happened on our own doorstep at Ogmore Vale recently.

Probably every one of us has behaved stupidly like that in our younger days, Maguluf has always had that behaviour among other places, and that will never change, part of growing up I suppose.

I have being going to Majorca all my life Shagalluf is a shithole. Nothing will happen the bars pay off the cops and bent local politicians everyone gets a cut. Drug raids are a joke bar owners are told in advance, another bung. Spain is rotten to the core. My elder brother had a place out there for 25 years all that counts is money. In the end he had a bin full of arguing with bureaucrats over varying things regarding his apartment so he offloaded it . He had an office in Palma one of the Spanish employees was stealing money, he was eventually caught and it went to court. They found against him but blamed the company somehow ? They even had to compensate the thief's wife for loss of income as he was the breadwinner !!!!

Annis interested in your opinion.
How long do you think these idiots should spend in jail? That would absolutely nip it in the bud I think.

I was shocked that international travel was allowed to start up again so early. I'm even more shocked that British people are allowed to travel abroad yet, due to the high number of cases and deaths we've had. It's completely nonsensical allowing people in to a country that is controlling the virus, from a country where there are still big outbreaks! This could lead to a new spike in cases in countries like Spain.
Sat Jul 11, 2020 12:08 pm
Money money money Spain absolutely and totally dependent on the Brits!!!
Sat Jul 11, 2020 12:23 pm
Tho only things that's are surprising are that (a) anyone is surprised, and (b) that some members on here seem to think it's an okay thing to do, despite the last 3 months
The OP is right in his condemnation of the selfish idiots who couldn't wait to 'get on the lash' ASAP and are certainly making up for what they see as 'lost time'
Brits abroad seem to think they have licence to do what they want and the actions of their hosts often appears to support that view
Jail? Not too sure about that; but fines should be heavy and isolated quarantine on their return should be a minimum requirement

Your misunderstanding the point the VIRUS is still here but it proves my point many in the UK don’t take it seriously, we have every nationality here at the moment and 99% are enjoying a holiday in peace even though their is a virus, the minority are spoiling it.
Sat Jul 11, 2020 1:20 pm
Then the Spanish need to do what they did years ago when I was in. Ibiza and the Irish did in Dublin....ban groups of more than 4 people who came on holiday / stag nights etc ......
In Ibiza, the police enforced the 4 in a group rule which allowed for 2 couples to go out together but not groups of lads....

Mainly British (or dare we say 'English')

Without Brits Going there and spending money a lot of Spanish resorts would go bust within a year. Same for a lot of other Countries including Greece and Cyprus.
Hence why these countries are absolutely desperate to get us back.
No coincidence that the resorts that are frequented by the Germans and a Russians etc make far less profit than the ones the Brits go too.
We are the highest spenders in Europe by far!!!

That does not give them right to mob up and act like pure morons when there is a deadly virus about, surely this should least likely to happen?
Sat Jul 11, 2020 3:43 pm
It was always going to happen, sensible people won't fly it's a hotspot for the virus, the people that are most likely to go are the more care free and consequently the most likely Brits to get Covid-19 and spread it!
I think the latest stat said only 17% of the UK intended to go abroad, it's safe to say they are not the brightest bunch!

Yeah, and you can guarantee that the minority acting like muppets and misbehaving are British, it's embarrassing!

Dead cert these p*ssed up morons, have been furloughed and sat round doing F all for the past few months.
Borders open, planes flying off they go.
Their combined IQ's probably lower than the amount of work they've done since March.

Disgusting behaviour. However I’m not surprised one bit by the actions of these people. They have no moral courage, respect for others or any sense of responsibility. It’s actions like these that tar us with the same brush. I’d personally arrest and lock up.

The hypocrisy on this board at times astonishes me. The term grumpy old men springs to mind. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. And for Sven to suggest that they must be English as none of our own beauties would ever be so badly behaved is quite remarkable

I'm grumpy and with good reason. There is a killer amongst us.
By all means take a holiday. BUT act responsibly and respect the advice laid out to hopefully protect others, your loved ones and yourself.

What would you have done when you were 20?

A British man has died in Spain after falling from a hotel balcony in the early hours of Saturday and landing on another man, according to reports.
Police in Malaga told the Mail they were "investigating" the death of two men in Marbella after "one man landed on another man, killing him as well".
The Foreign Office told the BBC it was "supporting the family of a British man following his death in Spain".
A spokesman for the FCO added officials were in contact with local police.

Not surprised its really sad but nothing new. The brits were the same in benidorm in the 70s and thereafter. That's why I don't understand the shock and horror on here

Could not agree more. Bloody hell forever blue, don't tell me you never got up to moronic behaviour in your past. Because there was no virus around previously, was that behaviour acceptable then.
