Not a great game.
Glatzel and Ralls the main contenders for me. Going for Ralls, great work rate.

Glatzel by a mile a joke that he was taken of.

Ralls by a long way

Apart from his tap in, Glatzel did nothing but lose the ball all game

Glatzel easily...harris takes blame tonight took far to long to make changes and then takes off our best player on pitch

Thats the way ignore anyone who has a different opinion because you must be correct.

I actually praised him last week as he was playing well so i can't be that blind. I speak as I see and don't just blindly follow . If they play poorly I will say so, if they are good I will praise them. Not hard to grasp that mate.

the last 6 games this club has WON...it wasn't him playing up front.. he doesn't do nearly enough , its not he isn't trying its just he isn't at this level...

he has done nothing for me mate.. but the 2 substitute apps he looked quite a bit better... tonight it was back to the alex revell type runs /closing down.. I know your not keen on Paterson either but the last 6 games we have won were all with him starting....

He has looked better in the adt few games but he reverted back to the old Glatzel against Blackburn and struggled to do anything with the ball even though it was played into him a lot.
I dont mind patterson he has a purpose and does the job he's asked to do well. He just not a striker in my eyes and when he plays we revert to long ball like last night but at least he's effective

EFFECTIVE....love that word because to win games the players have to be effective...and he isnt, with the ball he really isnt bad, without the ball which is just as important if not more important and is 89 minutes out of the 90 he is the worse player we have had in years ... and the stats are not marginal .. he has started 20 times we win 30% ...in his last 12 starts its 25% { relegation / possibly bottom of the league form } .doubt any player anywhere would even be in contention if not for such a big fee... i can see how ugly it all looks with Pato too...but ill take an ugly win every day over that crap last night.

Absolutely correct. Thomas doesn't rate anyone no matter what other than Smithies. Have a look at the poll and replies that say something even if you think I'm wrong.
Glatzel, Ralls, Vaulks, Bacuna Nelson and Neil Harris are all an important part of the side but not rated by Thomas. Opinions I get but criticism of the same players I dont get.

im shocked how many people just see the one minute...ignore the other 89 and the result if honest...take glatzel out put paterson in...more often than not we win and pato gets no votes :laughing5: :laughing5: :laughing5: and no i dont think pato is champion the wonder horse but this really is as obvious as it ever gets...

We all have different opinions which is what it's all about, but constant criticism of players is what I dont get as it's not always about what you do with the ball it's sometimes what you do without it.
There is a footballer in Glatzel and at £5M its relatively cheap in the championship. Glatzel will flourish next season for sure and is learning all the time and has youth on his side.
Everyone wants a 20 goal a season player but in reality they are like rocking horse shit and the way forward is to develop players which I feel NH will do.

i just want us making the play offs mate and dont much care what players play so long as we are winning.....but my heart sinks everytime he fixes whats perfectly fine with broken parts...and sorry but its not about how many goals he scores , give me zero goals and 4 wins over a 4 goal player but no points over the next few weeks all day long..it works different with many here though...winning games is secondary to a forward scoring and its really bizarre...Glatzel without the ball always seems to be thinking what to do and where to go its not instinctive with him , the last player we had like this was Alex Revell chase all day long but always from the wrong start point and always a blink of an eyes thought to late.. { which is enough at this level }.

maybe in a different team , with different players or a different system but for us here and now we need players working front to back.,.last night he didnt bother them at all, it was much to easy..

Glatzel like Paterson before him pops up with a few goals, this muddy's the water. Like Paterson's occasional quality finishing, Glatzel sometimes holds onto the ball but inevitably gives it away, in truth if he does control it he is bit of a headless chicken running into trouble.

Twice he has started since the break and twice we are outplayed. For me at this stage in his championship career he is better as a sub against tired players.

But, if fit, I would start with Ward over both of them, but Paterson start to win ratio is probably the best by far.

Its a team game. I thought Ralls won his battle with Bradley Johnson and imposed himself on the game. Its doesn't matter how many you score if you lost !

Rubbish I rate quite a few of our players i just don't blindly praise them because they wear a cardiff shirt.

I argued for Smithies for over a year and everyone argued saying I was wrong including you , not many arguing anymore.

I rate a lot of our players , i also rate Patterson just not as a striker. I dont think Bacuna is a bad player but when he signed you were all saying he's a right back and I said he is not, turns out I was right. All I have said about him is he is very inconsistent which is a point proven this week. Man of the match last game - Awful and cost us points this game.

Ralls I rate highly so have no idea what you are on about

Vaulks I said was no better than what we have already and that's pretty much spot on aswell

Please let me know where I'm going wrong with any of this ?

Nelson is not ready for this level yet week in week out and is caught out of position a lot, he should have cost us a penalty last night because he switched off but the referee got the decision wrong luckily. I just think Bamba or flint are better options.

Its about opinions and if you cant listen to other peoples then really you should consider if you should be posting on a forum which is about discussion

Vaulks MOTM for me thought he was everywhere, however Glatzel was a close second and was super out there and looks better every time i see him play. Thought the subs were awful though. We looked even worse when Glatzel came of for Ward and bringing Tomlin and Paterson on at the same time seemed to completely confuse our team whether to go pass through the lines to Tomlin or go long to Paterson on the wing!!?. Bizarre imo that we should put Paterson on the wing. Nelson had a shocker too.

Behave he is nowhere near player of the season he's made multiple mistakes and poor performances . Why do his go unchallenged but Flint was hung up for them ?
I'm assuming it's down to the fact he's a free and flint was big money.
