Lee Tomlin didn’t train Friday, is he able to play 90 minutes and is he happy coming off the bench?
NEIL HARRIS:
"I wouldn’t say he is happy. I’m fully content with the role he is playing but we can’t argue the impact he is having in that role.
"We have to be hugely respectful to the players who are playing from the start.
"All I’m trying to allude to is some honesty to where Tommo is at.
"He didn’t train Friday so he wouldn’t have had 50 minutes in him.
"We wouldn’t have had Tommo if the season had finished at the start of May. He is available now because we are managing him as we go.
"He is still not 100% fit and it’s a lot more complex.
"You will see and understand more as time goes on. I am happy to manage Lee day by day and getting him on the pitch is vital for us. Whether it’s 60 or 70 minutes or 30 minutes.
"We are managing the group. Mentally and physically.
"The boys have never been in the training ground for such a sustained period, because of testing days as well. If they are in for testing, we may as well get some work into them as well!
"It’s a lot of time together, so it’s managing the group not just Lee Tomlin."
