I spent time out in Jacksonville and what a city it was.

This was the late 80s and I lived at Atlantic Beach. I use to travel down that coastline keeping to the A1A to St. Augustine. For me its the best part of the world I have been to.

We'll have to get a Jags supporters club- Cardiff City Branch going!

Agree great place. Was supposed to be back there in August but obviously not happening this year

Ian, that must have been superb, particularly if you played a bit of golf; some wonderful courses out that way

I love the place and try to get there as often as I can. Had one trip cancelled in April and another looking unlikely now in October (flights not likely to start until 2021 and I'm not too sure Florida is the place to be right now with them being in the Premier League of pandemic spread

Jacksonville Jags are my adopted NFL team after I saw them play LA Rams a few years ago. Rams scored from the KO and the Jags scored straight from the return ball! The Jags lost but I loved the atmosphere, partly because the people around made us feel so welcome

The Jaguars were not born then when I was there but they had applied for the NFL. That was a sign of an up and coming city in the USA when that happens. I dont think any other city has applied since then.
