Fair comments - England haven't really handled it very well?

England is still recovering from the Foot and Mouth.

Even so I enjoyed my Bow this weekend.

Yes , let's keep all of them out - who needs a tourism industry?

Wales for the Welsh!

And whilst we're at it they can shove their furlough scheme up their jacksie too - the WAG can pay for it!

Viva the People's Republic of Wales and our brave leader Chairman Drakeford!

Lockdown to continue indefinitely. That's what the people want

Yes why not put up the barbed wire and machine guns on offas dyke ! What do we need English people in our country for? Drakeford is loving it the spike and lockdown can see him sitting on his little stool saying into the mirror I told you my stay at home for 1yr policy will bring its rewards... :D

Is it to stop them catching it in merthyr?

I'm being flippant of course. Fed up of seeing so many welsh nats berating england and the english but having major blind spots to things happening here.

Like said before it's easy just to sit on his ivory toilet seat and do nothing other than put hands over his ears and wait to see what others are doing , then turn around and say I was right to do nothing see how corvid as spiked in England and other places..... meanwhile welsh economy gets screwed and thousands unemployed people thank him for keeping corvid in England and losing their jobs..

Couldnt agree more allan. Drakeford seems hell bent on stopping people working rather than finding solutions. He uses emotional blackmail in his language. People claim Wales are doing things better but they obviously miss when people pay lip servuce to him in a social sense. But it is business that is suffering and they CANT pay lip servuce. 4 months in .... we need to start getting back to work. We have everything in place now that was not there before. Track and trace. Hospital capacity.

WG (drakeford) dont want a 2nd spike? Only way that will happen is when corvid is iradicated fully or have a vaccine sounds like WGs preferred options! There are still many areas of businesses that have no clue when can even look at opening, time is running out fast as Westminster support is reducing in 4wks, yes theres spikes but it's all over world not just England so guess he will keep watching bbc world news to see when corvid as been iradicated... WG haven't even set out how schools will open in sept as no definitive distancing rules in place according to unions so schools not expected to have all kids back until October because they need more than 2 months to set up schools according to the unions even though known for months will be opening in sept... :o

Me and the Mrs are currently enjoying a nice week in Cornwall. Would have holidayed in Wales but drippy drakford put a stop to that.
The pubs and restaurants we have been in are very good and feel extremely clean and well managed.

I’m sure the a Welsh hospitality and tourism industries are loving the fact they are losing out to England.

If it was down to Drakford Wales wouldn’t have a pot to piss in and would literally end up a third world country in a few years.

While we’re at it why don’t us and the Jacks join the league of Wales. :banghead:

More English voters want to England to be independent 27% than Welsh voters 25% want to break away from the rest of the UK

No one wants a second spike but we are at least prepared should one occur. I work in healthcare albeit privately and we searched high and low to source the necessary gear to allow safe opening. We now meet all requirements and have a good supply of what we need.

As you say allan it looks like drakeford wants it gone or a vaccine. This isnt a hostile enemy at war with us or a pressure group. It is a virus and doesnt listen to what politicians want. Eradication would take a years or so of complete and total world wide lockdown. Vaccines take time. Neither of which is practical so we need solutions to allow safe working.

I wojuld have more faith if he started to make sensible suggestions. I would even be happy with mandatory face coverings in public. But he is like a Rabbit in headlights then saying anyone against him doesnt want to save lives. Thats ridiculous. Let us find ways to get some degree of normality and life back.

When you look at most of the WGs briefings they consistently say taking it was slowly to see what happens with what they allow to open..... because they dont know what corvid will be like in 2mnths time! But clearly have no clue as how the fck can you allow pubs cafes ect just open outside with no toilets and only places that currently have required licensing to have outside drinking or tables on street for cafe! What will happen in places like tenby where cannot swing a cat or most pubs cafes
dont have open space to put tables! Weather looking perfect for umbrellas when open though....

Well certainly pubs will not open fully in time to save many from closing same for restaurants/cafes as social distancing will still be in place if drakeford as his way until November or later..
