Ian Harte

was thinking he might have been a good addition to the city squad the other day, after scoring 18 goals from Defence for Carlisle last term. still has a year left on his contract though.

Anyway, Idea over, he has signed for Reading. Excellent left footed dead ball specialist - but is 32 now and slowing down.

Not that a big deal to be honest as we have enough decent players who can hit a good freekick with both feet. :ayatollah:

Naylor, Whitts, Chops, Koumas, Bellamy.

a good left back at league 1 level, good free kick and penalty taker, but was absolutely raped by earnie in the fa cup match when you would say harte was at his best

Harte was the last of the ridiclously highly paid players at Leeds (guess who gave him the contract?) to leave the club.

For ages , they couldn`t afford to play him , so just let the rest of his contract term run down until they could offload him.
