Three points clear with five to play and a better goal difference
Home to Blackburn on Tuesday
Derby away to West brom Wednesday
Derby still have to play Leeds, Cardiff and Brentford
Millwall Swansea and preston don't seem able to put together a good enough run to catch us this late.
The Final play off spot will likely be decided midweek. If we lose and Derby win it will go all the way to the last week.
We are in a great position now after today.

If you look at the fixtures left then this week will be crucial
A win coupled with a derby loss to West brom means we have a shot to be guaranteed play offs next weekend, anything else would mean it going pretty much all season.
That's why I say this week is crucial to the play off picture. I can't see anyone else putting a big enough run together as they would need to win every game in reality which won't happen.

one game at a time mate..
everyone remembers us blowing up in 2009... nobody really ever mentions PNE though..
they had won 1 game in 7 going into the last 4 fixtures and looked a spent force... 4 straight wins later they are in the play offs and we are not... fingers crossed that don't happen

The games in midweek will be huge, no doubt about that.
Derby have a terrible run of fixtures. Watched them against Forest today and they were really poor. They were very fortunate to come away with a point. If they play like that against West Brom, they won't get a result.
Millwall have a decent set of games left and they looked very solid against Charlton on Friday.
Swansea really need to beat Wednesday on Sunday to stay in the hunt and I'm not sure that will happen. Wednesday battered West Brom the other night but somehow lost 3-0 to a team who had four shots all game. They also had a good win against Bristol City the week before.
So I think it's between us, Derby and Millwall.
We also have a difficult set of fixtures - more difficult on paper than Millwall's but nowhere near as bad as Derby's.
I don't see any of us winning all our final final five games, it's going to be very interesting.
One thing in our favour is we will do better against teams who have to go for the win - it's against teams like Charlton we struggle against because we can't break down a defence with ten men behind the ball.
Blackburn will have to take the game to keep alive their very small hopes of getting in the top six. The same case will apply with Fulham and Derby, they are two teams who won't sit back. Obviously when we play Middlesbrough and Hull, it will depend what they need. If they both need wins to stay up when they play us then they'll have to play an attacking system and that plays to our strengths - Boro might be tough because Warnock will know that.

Imho,it's one game at a time with ten games left, especially more so if you are in with a shout of going up/play offs. I was definitely thinking back to that time, wondering if they could cause us to regress, but nothing to worry about

I predicted 7 wins and 2 draws from our last 9 games,I know,if carslberg did end of seasons, but so far, so good
