So since March it’s been compulsory

So since March in Italy & Spain its been compulsory to wear face masks in all shops and public transport and guess what England makes it compulsory on public transport 2 weeks ago and Scotland makes it from next week, Compulsory in shops, bloody hell how come 3 months later ?

Unfortunately this is just par for the course under the current government. Lockdown was initiated way too late and wasn't even a real lockdown at that. Flights coming in weren't quarantined until June and it was a voluntary quarantine anyway.
Masks not being compulsory until now is just the latest in a long string of incompetent decisions that have cost lives.
