For the second time in a week Harris changes it,gives the opposition different sets of problems and wins a game before the opposition has time to react. When was the last time we had a manager that could do that if ever.He seems to embrace the squad philosophy instead of just a first XI mentality. This guy could turn out to be the real deal yet.I look forward to see his side after he's had a window. If we don't make it this season he deserves a full season at it.

Think he’s been a breath of fresh air...players seem happier as well.

I was initially unsure of his appointment but after the enforced break it looks like he's instilled a confidence in the team and a much better style of play

A positive and observationally correct post.
The solidarity of the starting formation, followed by the introduction of impact substitutions against tiring legs seems to be working a treat. Also, I think the fact our replacements are all players of a high calibre helps and shows squad strength in depth.
The tactic seems ideal for home games against teams who are placed near the top or top (Leeds) or away games (Preston), but looking ahead to Charlton, I’d like to see the introduction of fresh legs and creativity from the start. Charlton's league position suggests we should be looking to win, especially with home advantage (despite the lack of fans, our players are used to the pitch).
The main swap for me would be the introduction of Tomlin from the start instead of one of the midfield 3 to give him 70 minutes to unlock their defence as opposed to the last 20 minutes only. Also, I’d bring Glatzel in for Patterson and NML at the expense of Ademoah.

You could argue that Plan B is even better than Plan A as we seem to end the game with what looks like a stronger team than the one that starts.
But it's the team that starts the game that puts in the hard graft that allows the subs to make such a positive impact.
Five subs has certainly helped us I think being able to bring on attackers like Mendez and Glatzel, then Tomlin against tiring defenders and then Pack to help tighten things up at the end of the game.
Credit to Harris - I was not impressed with his appointment but I have to say that recently he has started to show what he can do with this group of players.

It's easy with hindsight but he was always a great fit. Worked with limited resources at millwall, so understands the need to grind out a game but being a fine goal scorer himself understands the need for service to a centre forward. He's playing now the way NW was when we were smashing the likes of villa and Leeds. Harris is a fighter having beaten cancer and deserved alot more respect from the doubters from day one

I named Bielsa as my mom against Leeds, for not having one,(plan b)Harris wasn't my choice, but also stood his corner against some pretty scathing comments from some on here, sting he needed to be given the summer window at least,to get the players that he believes will add to the squad, and not just in numbers either,I think he has been absolutely on the money for the last 3 games (all wins, with only 1 goal conceded,& 7 scored) and his team selection in the last 2 victories has been spot on,especially the changes he made in both, long may it continue, the team look lean and mean atm, shame we cannot be there to show them appreciation for their fantastic efforts, imho Harris for me has been 8/10 so far.
