Glatzel

Well he’s certainly the striker who looks most likely to score and make runs behind the CBs. We just look a better shape when he’s making runs in behind.

Interesting whether he should start now.

He’s positively prolific compared to some of the strikers we’ve had in recent years !!!!

He's the only sub I'd maybe switch in to the starting line up.

But off the bench seems to be working so well for him, NML and Tomlin.

Totally agree with these comments but we also changed our style a little by the tome RG came on. Does he start on Tuesday? I’d say yes as 2 in 2 for a sub deserves a spot plus Charlton ( on paper) could be a little easier but probably won’t be.

RG9 is our best centre forward since Bothroyd, we've left the lad so isolated this season, but Harris has clearly been working with NML, The Magician and Glatzel on link-up play. They look outstanding and on a different level at times. :ayatollah:

I’d start Glatzel, he deserves it. If NML is fully fit, I’d start him ahead of Adomah as well. Good to have strength in depth. Being able to make 5 subs has definitely benefited us.

That's a bit of a shout.

Frazer Campbell? Kenwyn Jones? Two off the top of my head I can think of who done alot more than him so far.

Great to see him scoring though and I hope he kicks on from here. We've been crying out for a prolific striker for what seems like forever.

I agree, we can’t go over the top about him but he can’t do much more than he’s doing right now.

But we do have to play to his strengths, he was never going to be the answer the way Warnock set us up but Harris seems to have improved a number of those players to be fair.

Think he's benefitting from the lack of fans in the ground.

Seemed to be trying a bit too hard when the fans were in the stadium but has taken his goals really well in the last two games.

The goal today reminded me of some of the goals Ken scored when he was on his best form.

I’d leave it as it is.. let Paterson beat them up for 60mins, then bring on a different challenge. Especially considering the game frequency at the mo..

Can't just assume that these guys will come off the bench every game and do that. Glatzel deserves a start for me.

If it's really going to be adomahs last match I'd play him and keep nml on the bench

Frazer was decent but he was a Chopra type player.

Jones? He was okay, but poor considering the money we spent on him and his "reputation". I may be wrong but I felt a lot of his goals were quite meaningless, and it's no stretch to say he was not a link-up player. I would say Gestede was better than Ken.

It's not really much of a shout at all really, we haven't had a complete centre forward since Bothroyd. Glatzel shows so much promise of being the type of player we've been looking for for so long. I'd love to watch him with a proper goal poacher up top with him, but we don't have one of those at the moment, he's adapting and we 2 goals in around 60 mins of football is a man on form! :thumbright:

Agree that a goal poacher would be great but two up top would leave a gap in our midfield. I think RG plays particularly well with NML & Tomlin tbh.

Those three look telepathic at times, some really good combination play between them :ayatollah:

Cant see how frazer was too similar to Chopra. He played upfront alone, won loads of headers, held up the ball alot. He played as an out and out centre forward for us.

Kenwyn yeah he wasn't amazing by a far stretch. But he still done alot more than glatzel has. Glatzel has really been woeful most of the season, whether it was the system and if he can turn it around completely we will see. I just think you're getting a bit carried away.
