If he does that's a new club for Jazz, Ward and Bamba.

If he keeps them up a few backroom staff will go!

Good luck to him he was great for us and walked away when it was right.

He will play the under 18’s against us to make sure we go up if we are in with a shout.

Good luck Neil, but not against us, for me you were one of my favourite managers , saved us from relegation, got us promoted and nearly kept us in the Premier :bluebird: :bluebird:

Malky no backing ?!! Cornelius, Caulker and Medel were hardly freebies.

Here's hoping he comes in with a £4m offer for Vassell in the summer.

At least we know he won't be after Tomlin!

That was 1 player at some clubs

Malky no backing ?!! Cornelius, Caulker and Medel were hardly freebies.
. Depth in squads of Malky and Neil
were poor. Arter and Camarasa got injured towards the end of the, season and we were fucked

Good luck Neil

You gelled our club back together, for that I thank you

But I do feel your style is dated

And you should just enjoy retirement

Will probably play the fans and the media as he always does at Boro claiming he loves the club and its his last job etc.. He'll keep them up though as Boro have a decent squad, they just had someone in charge who was completely out of his depth in Woodgate. Would be nice if he could take Flint, Pack, Whyte, and Vassell off our hands for 10m. It will be typical of us to go up to Boro needing a draw or a win and his Boro team to beat us 1-0 in the last minute to kill off our hopes of getting in to the top 6. But lets be honest with players like Paddy McNair, George Saville, Adam Clayton, Jonny Howson, Lewis Wing, Patrick Roberts, Lukas Nmecha, Ashley Fletcher, and Britt Assombalonga they should never be going down and I bet he'll turn Ravel Morrison in to Adel Taarabt  and I fully expect Warnock to get them fired up and going in the right direction. I just pray to god its not against us.

Maybe he will won't us to win when we play them at the end of the season. As being our manager in the early part of the campaign he might still be entitled to a promotion bonus.

Would have been nice to have been able attend that game with about 4,000 away fans going,
sadly its going to come to early.

Probably say it’s his last club for the fourth time, hope it’s his 8th relegation and we get back to Premier League with a big win against him!

Agree with your first two lines but his style is not dated short term at a club. For example if he gets Boro going again and keeps them up then his style will be spot on.

Who are you to tell him to retire? Why shouldn’t he keep working if there’s still a demand for him and he still enjoys it? Very strange comment.

He will stabilise Boro I've no doubt, but if he does stay further then I will give you a £50 wager he will not get another team promoted with his style

As for the retirement comment.

IT was meant in a genuine way

He's 71, his wife has suffered with cancer

So enjoy the last years stress free with his wife, he's earned that.

Oh and not if you are aware but I'm fairly certain Neil doesn't listen to me and my opinions

He probably has his own.

Yeah I believe his style is short term and I’m sure that’s why Boro have brought him in.

With regards to retirement, his age and his wife’s cancer obviously haven’t got a bearing on his and his wife’s decision to keep working. Good luck to him.

I agree mate

He's undoubtedly one if my favourite ever City managers

But life is short, and he's not young.

But as you say it's his and his wife's choice

And I wish him all the very best apart from 18 July of course.

For sure!

For me he’s the best manager we’ve ever had not only for what he done on the the pitch but also the way he gelled the whole club together after the farcical appointments before him.

Everyone is different. I retired at 50 and enjoy every minute of it. I’m lucky enough to have a nice house and travel the world.

Of course Warnock could do the same but prefers to keep working. With his wife’s blessing. So no reason for him to retire, a bit like Hodgson at Palace.

I can't stand the bloke

But in fairness, when he got the job with us many people on here said it was probably ten years too late and his style of football wouldn't get us promoted. Yet he did.

Can only see what he does with Boro if he's stays there for next season - which I think he will as he'll probably keep them up.

Fair play for your honesty, respect that.

He will keep them up but as I said earlier id have £50 he's had his last promotion with any one.

Did a fantastic job here bringing back passion and belief.
Think it's sometimes overlooked how good we were, got 90 points that season 27 wins, not like we scrapped up through the playoffs
Wolves were as nailed on as you can be in the championship, Villa Derby, Boro all had big budgets.
