Hoilett and Bennett played very well but Alex Smithies won us that game .
Brilliant goalkeeping all round
To be honest I don't think anybody had a poor game they were all good

Bacuna for me just ahead of Smithies

Could be any one of the midfield 3. They were everywhere. Giving it to Vaulks.

Nelson

Sorry but Bennett was the only player who struggled, I lost count the amount of times he was out of position hence why Brad Smith was brought on to help him.
The midfield 3 were superb as were Morrison and Nelson, Glatzel and NML looked very sharp when they came on. Bacuna was the pick of the bunch for me. Solid team performance apart from Bennett about time he was benched.

Sanderson for me.

Going to be a big miss next season; the guy is class

Thought he was the worst of our defenders. Not a bad performance, but his back pass for a corner was woeful and out of position when Smithies made 'that' save. Hard on a day when everyone else plays so well.

The keeper today, won it for us in my opinion.

To be fair he was up against probably the best right winger in the league in Costa and he kept him quiet. They were trying to go down that side all game but got nothing from it, that says to me he played well.

I agree. He is quietly becoming a very good player.

Smithies for me but my second choice would be Nelson who along with Morrison was rock solid in the central defensive positions

Agreed he is quietly turning into a top player.

Smitthies

Smithies for me at 1-0 that world class save could of been the turning point had that gone in.

I’ve gone for a player that not many would have started with today,Bacuna.

Crap backpass yeah. My eyes always open wide on these threads because people always see things differently to me

I guess that's just the way it goes. I thought bacuna barely touched the ball first half and he's winning.
NML had the biggest impact on the game though for me when he came on. And Patterson got an 8 in the Wales online article... So it's all about opinions I guess

One of those games where virtually everyone played well but nobody was really brilliant as such.
Good performance and Smithie edges it for me.

my whole afternoon went like this "well done Joe" then my daughter said it Vaulks, then "well done Will" and she said it "Ralls".... Anyone of the 3 midfielders for me, but went for Vaulks.
Smithies kept us in the game, Bennett shaky with poor delivery at set plays as well.
Solid at the back, strong, mobile and aggressive in the middle a lot to be desired up front but 2 shots 2 goals
Glatzel and NML connected a few times which was encouraging.

Very good performance. Smithies is too good for this league, Nelson is quality , but for me Bacuna was MOTM. He does all the mopping up in midfield and the Leeds players will definetly be glad to see the back of him.

Bacuna all day long for me

Neck and neck.
I'm surprised Smithies is joint top.. He made some good saves, don't get me wrong. But he didn't have to do much in the first half - purely because he was so well protected by the midfield and the defence.
Great saves in the second half.
Bacuna was crucial to that win in my opinion and that's why I think he was hands down MOTM.
