I think that midfield 3 has everything

Ralls cannot be left out. Our best midfielder and in a way a talisman. His industry is infectious. For me Bacuna Ralls and Vaulks because they are solid and we need that in the Championship. Tomlin is our most gifted and talented player who needs to come on early in the second half to win any game. He immediately gives us a boost and frightens the opposition. Pack is a do underestimated player and would be good to bring on and defend a lead.

Bacuna, Ralls and Vaulks to start for me with Pack and Tomlin on the bench. We need to ease Tomlin back into the side with so many games coming up thick and fast. The last thing we want is for him to pick up another injury that rules him out for the season.

I'm shocked so many are going for Bacuna he is the poorest of the 5 by a long way . Very inconsistent player as he is either brilliant or awful , the latter of which he shows more often.

Vaulks was the form player before the break but I'm not sure that counts now and I'm reality he is probably 4th choice of the 5 when everyone's fit and starting fresh

Another player you could add to this list would be Nelson. He seems a lot more suited to a defensive midfielder role than centre back, I wouldn't mind seeing what he could do sat in front of the defence in the future

I agree. I also think those three are the best to compete with a very hard working high intensity team like Leeds. Keep it tight and get pace on the wings. Tomlin can come on in the second half if we need a goal

Bacuna and Pack both good to have on the bench for different reasons. Pack if we want to consolidate and hold onto a lead. Bacuna if we are chasing and want to put a bit more energy and bite into the midfield.

To be fair that's actually a solid 5 to choose from at this level.

Without Tomlin there is very little creativity he from for us prior to the break makes him undropable. Bacuna has had a few decent games for us but is a bit inconsistent. I think all of them will play for some stage of the match as 9 subs can be used.

I agree about Tomlin, he must start. Not sure if you realise what you typed but we can choose 9 subs but only 5 can be used?
I would choose Bacuna over Ralls any day of the week but it’s all about opinions.
We have good a very good squad of midfielders tbf

It's an unpopular opinion but Bacuna is one of our best players. When he's in the team, we are rarely overrun in midfield - can't say the same when he's not playing.

Ralls is a very strong player at this level and can do a bit of everything.

Tomlin speaks for himself, technically gifted and his free kicks are a big asset.


Tomlin picks up a lot of cards, that's the only problem. As well as having injury problems.
