Well in bales case,it was to tie him down to real,probably same for Ramsey? Seems to me that's what all the big clubs tend to do.hardly the players fault the clubs have offered wages too good to turn down,trouble comes if and when they decide to sell them,so no wonder bale opts to stay put,in the safe knowledge not many clubs can afford his current pay packet,will probably be the same with Ramsey, who is also on a huge wedge at juventus.

The reason Ramsey is on so much is that he cost nothing. If they had had to pay it would have been at least 50 million for him so Juventus were able to cost that into his wages. That works out at more than £300K a week for a three year contract. Had Juventus paid for him he would have been lucky to have got £200K.
