UPDATE - Police in Hackney, east London confirm that three men and a 13 year old boy have now been charged in connection with an incident on Tuesday, in which two police officers were attacked as they tried to stop and question a man. All 4 will appear in court today.

Attempted murder of a Hasidic Rabbi in Stoke Newington last night. Local politicians are again silent on the incident. Sadiq Khan has said his thoughts are with the victim of this horrible attack. I think that's a downgrade on his condemnation of the attack on the police officers. When will these politicians start calling out these people for the scumbags they are whatever the colour.
