Watching City games

With only 2 games being shown on Sky and the others on the City video player, does anybody know if you can watch these games by logging onto the City website through a smart TV?

I know you could access this through a mobile and mirror it on to the TV, but quality should be better going through the internet on smart TV.

Never used the city player video before.

Ant ideas?

Although city says that it can only be screened to computer/laptop and mobile, there is absolutely no problem streaming to a smart tv as that is basically a computer. The only reason that I have not tried it is that the window that the match is displayed in is quite small, but having said that if you have zoom on your tv ( most have) then you could enlarge it, but the quality would probably not be that good. You can try it by looking at the free videos on the official site maybe one that shows an old match. Hope this helps

I didn't want to wait until the games were on to realize it wouldn't work

Just thought you would like to see the 2018 city goals, just to give yo an idea, these do go full screen, but I do not think it is the same with streaming!
