Bending down on knee for publicity

It really is a joke,

So, riot, break lockdown rules, damage property, hurt many officers and this where the Major of London okayd it to happen, the one responsible for keeping London safe

It's pathetic

Did anyone take a knee when George took a knife to a pregnant women's stomach demanding money

160 odd deaths in UK custody over last few years, 13 ONLY were black

So hard done by aren't they in one of the world's most welcoming countries

Labour & far left are pathetic.

Maybe unpopular with this but I don’t get the whole kneel, clapping carers, dancing in the aisles of hospital wards. Maybe I’m just n old f@rt. :old:

Me and you both mate

The ones clapping were probably many of the ones attacking police over the weekend.

I think I've gone old, opinionated and grumpy haha

That’ll be Labour heading for more election disaster. In the absence of any form of policy, Starmer has to be seen doing something to uphold the black vote, however divisive.

its all very false.. many people stood on doorsteps clapping a health service running at about 50% who they themselves had complained about in oneway or other when it had actually been busy...as for Stamer , I seen Pelosi and her democrat gang do likewise 2 days ago . I just hope more politicians don't go down this root...

Why did parliament hold minute silence for him What is he to uk? Discuss it in regards to our policing by all means but a minute silence!! Totally wrong

Re: Keir Starmer

Wed Jun 10, 2020 2:45 pm

A minutes silence for a disgusting seasoned criminal who attacks pregnant women

What the hell is happening

Do we have a minutes silence a black man is killed by a black man now

Who ever is organising all this is looking to start a race war in my opinion

Next we will have a minutes silence for a suicide bomber

"Taking a knee" what a ridiculous statement.

I posted that stat last week ,only to be told ,yes but the white deaths were not because they were white where as the black deaths were just because of their colour.

You were spot on mate

I been looking into it a bit and I don't see this country to be a massively racist at all.

Yes there are pockets of racism but nothing ridiculous like USA, which has huge issues with racism which I also believe if black people let go of the past may be easier to eradicate

But for some reason people in the UK, tbey look to be like the hard done by black Americans. state they have it as bad as them, they don't end of for me, this country is diverse and welcoming with benefits etc

And people can call Farage racist but he thinks BLM is now more of an anarchy group thats been taken over. I happen to agree with him, just look at there ""just giving page".

There's a few hidden agendas with the BLM for me.

I'm 47 and been following the city since 1980, home and away and never come across racism until Southampton away last year when some drunk shouted a few things. He was kicked out.

I have many black and Asian friends and I've never heard them moan about being hard done by because of skin colour.

I would bet a huge, huge majority of Britons don't care about skin colour just hope that your a decent citizen

Rant over

Thought he was the man to give abit of stability to Labour so there might be accountability from those in power. Sadly not after this stupid knee bending crap. Clapping the NHS, this gesture that gesture. (NHS staff want decent pay not f*cking clapping). After a cretin like corbyn Starmer had a chance and now he's lost huge respect due to this publicity stunt.

The only problem I had/have with the capping/kneeling is why it has to be done in public? Why can't you just make your own tribute/protest without having to do it where everybody else can see it?

It's all a bit "look at me - I'm so worthy and I want you all to see it"

As for Starmer he can't wait for a photo opportunity to show how right on he is.

Totally agree. It certainly did become a ‘look at me’ exercise. People in my street were out treating it like a social event with some pointing to the houses who weren’t out.
I’m surprised some aren’t out on their knees. I blame bloody Facebook for a lot of it, that and too many people with too much time on their hands.
#Get back to work.

My definition of * taking a knee * is totally different from theirs as it hurt like hell for days !!! Never forgive the Wurzel git :D

A footnote.... Guess who was head of crown prosecution when a certain Jimmy Saville's case was not brought to court due to that department saying there was not enough evidence.

I've taken many a knee over the years, not my own.
