Not just city fans. I'm no Welsh nationalist but have thought that the Welsh have been subject to abuse that is more than racist for some time.Robert Peston went out ao a limb to condemn it. We laugh at ourselves as did the Irish when they were copping it with all the paddy jokes but in these very sensitive times racism it is with abit of venom chucked in at times too

I refer to some of the snide references that chip away. And the more blatant stuff espoused by the late A.A Gill. From what I can see Cardiff and the valleys too welcomes English people in a way that we should be proud of as a friendly, welcoming people. Yes I've heard rumours about other parts of Wales but I was making the point in generality. I'd have to go back to Max Boyces early stuff to find similar barbed offensive stuff in the other direction

What I was getting at is the Police will stop and search you, and potentially provoke you, based on where you come from, and if from past experience or reputation you could cause trouble.

I know what your saying mate, it does seem like over the years where ever we go their always seems to be more police on duty with some really intent on causing us hassle, its all to do with the reputation our club ( fans) have built up over the years and even though things have changed alot at our club people still see us as a problem club, mud sticks mate

Most games but only when we are provoked into it. I don't recall one game where we have started the English Welsh banter. In fact such banter is always started by the Engerlannnnd chant.

I love seeing city fans stumble in to the ground so drunk that within 5 minutes there sleeping,

Few years ago in Wolves, some city man was completely smashed, he was sleeping standing up, he fell smashed his head on the floor, got up sat down and slept for the entire game. Full time his mate woke him, he got up and just walked out like he was at home and just had an afternoon nap

In Birmingham late 80s, outside the ground, a bloke gets out of his minibus and is promptly arrested, whilst he has a joint in his mouth, a can of bow in his hand, jeans round his ankles he stumbles and a gets arrested he turns to the copper puzzled and says what have I done wrong whilst blowing weed smoke at him,

Same game brum fans above us then, raining seats and all sorts down, my mate completely trollied (we were 17 at most) turns grabs one of the seats to throw back, falls and gets himself caught in between seats and couldn't get up, took 2 stewards 10 minutes to free him and help him up,

Bury away, year we got relegated,
Our transit driver decided as we were all drinking to have just the one, he wasn't a football fan, anyway after the game we were waiting by the transi for the driver, hour passed, we decided to have a pint, go back to transit still no sign, of him, had to kip in transit for the night 6 pissed farting blokes, next morning taxi pulled up the fxcker had gone into Manchester partying, at the time I could have smashed him but looking back its was part of the fun of it all, young and stupid.

Another time in Northampton, back in the 90s one of our mates a right drunk he was, well he was smashed by 3pm (night game) opposite side of the road a few Northampton called it on, he proceeded to sprint towards them, just as he was about to confront them he turned and sprinted the other way we didnt see him again till half time, sounds stupid now but at the time it was comical

To many tales to tell, good fun days and noone got hurt.
