Make sure these protesters don’t turn up outside you’re club grounds and try and rip down statues of players who have served you’re clubs with pride and are legends don’t let these protesters rip them down just because they think they have a right to

Tbf is hazard a guess that a large number of the ‘protesters’ have no idea why they’re doing what they’re doing let alone what they want done so it’s not as far fetched as one may think.

Oh it's just about as far fetched as it gets. Or maybe you're right and Gareth really isn't safe.

Do any football clubs have statues of slave traders outside their grounds?
Thought not.

Specifically around the Colston statue in Bristol, that couldn't be further from the truth.
The statue has been controversial for decades because of the history of the main and because of what having a statue celebrating such a man represents.
It was specifically targeted because of what protesters did know, not what they didn't.

it was clearly tongue in cheek about the statue...
but yes you only have to listen to them to realise that the majority are not sure what they are protesting about..

Uh, yeah ok. I think Gareth is safe now anyway. Picton has pretty much had it though.
