They already wanted that but it was fact they excluded Cardiff residents from it that WG stopped it but wont be surprised to it see come in, so this is next best thing.... but who caused the problem in 1st place? They did by destroying the transport links in Cardiff went from same place for any bus or having cross city busses to bus stops half mile apart and a new bus station with no picking up of people!! No wonder people use cars in Cardiff... and the other thing they've done is increase traffic jams in centre by closing streets off and making cars use one rd the very one they are about to restrict even more !have you noticed slowly but surely traffic speed is being reduced all over the city to 20mph even manor way as been reduced to 30mph for most of it?
As a cardiffian looking from outside it's a disgrace what theyve done to transport infrastructure in city.

Is that in readiness for the ridiculous widening of the pavement for the supposedly vital "social distancing" that means we all have to avoid each other by six foot three inches when we're walking down the street in case somebody we pass for half a second and who is less than two metres away breathes in our direction and we die?
As if the government haven't done enough to wreck the economy already. Imagine you owned a shop in Wellfield Road - nobody can park in the road itself. Nobody can park in the side streets because they are residents only. Nobody can park nearby because there are double yellow lines everywhere. How are these shops supposed to survive?
I also see that a lane has been coned off in Castle Street from Cathedral Road round to the City Hall.
It's difficult not to think that the Council are using this time as a convenient excuse for bringing in by the back door the anti motorist measures they've been desperate to bring in for years especially since encouraging Swampy and his bunch of environmental terrorists to park their boat outside the castle last year.
I've got an idea for how some of the billions of pounds that furlough has cost the country can be repaid - how about introducing a flat rate bike tax for every cyclist who uses the public roads of say £100 a year.
And if there was a fixed charge of £20 for every cyclist who doesn't bother stopping at a red light we'd clear all the furlough debt in a couple of weeks.

Another massive waste of time and money....what about Albany rd? Ok to walk past someone there is it?
