He also talks over Susanna Reid constantly and clearly isn’t interested in her views, just in getting his own voice heard.

My interpretation of the "When the rioting starts, the shooting starts" is that people will revert to protecting their possessions especially if its their lifes work. If they own a gun t hey will use it and with Americas loose gun laws this was always going to happen. They have history of it and we should not be surprised. All the President has done is inform us of what could and is happening. So why turn it into some political agenda to discredit him? Well we all know that answer.

This USA President we have at the moment is not a politically minded one. Personally I'm finding him a bit of fresh air. Rudi is also of the same ilk and that showed in the interview. Unfortunately this will go against him as he lost it a bit and that seems to be a no no on such interviews. Expect a backlash from the Anti trump brigade on this.

As said above, he never lets his guests have the chance to even properly answer questions. No wonder the government refused to let any of their ministers be interviewed by him for so long.

Who can forget the disgraceful things he did when he was Editor of the Daily Mirror. Such as allegedly hacking a dead girl's phone (Milly Dowler) and putting fake photos on the front page of British soldiers abusing Iraqi prisoners.



Unfortunately this won't be the end of him on TV. He'll just go and join Andrew Neil's new GB News.

Morgan is a terrible person but he also divides opinion which makes him box office. That's the reason he keeps getting employed by these networks.

Seems the choice these days is between the likes of Piers or the woke t***ts.. decent broadcasting disappeared some time ago, when executives decided to enter the ratings war. BBC News is especially farcical..

Piers Morgan has left ITV's Good Morning Britain following a row over comments he made about the Duchess of Sussex.

It brings the controversial host's time on the show to an end after six years.

ITV announced the decision after Ofcom said it was investigating his comments after receiving 41,000 complaints.

On Monday's show, Morgan said he "didn't believe a word" the duchess had told Oprah Winfrey about her mental health in an interview.

An ITV spokesperson said: "Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add."

The channel confirmed to the BBC that his departure from the breakfast news show will take effect immediately but declined to say who would be replacing him on Wednesday.

Morgan's departure followed an on-air clash with weather presenter Alex Beresford, who criticised his colleague on Tuesday for "continuing to trash" the duchess, prompting Morgan to walk off set. He returned within 10 minutes.

Also on Tuesday, ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall said she "completely believed what [the duchess] says", adding that ITV is "totally committed to" mental health.

Mental health charity Mind, which is a partner with ITV on its Britain Get Talking campaign, also criticised Morgan, saying it was "disappointed" by the presenter's comments.

Morgan has not commented on his departure beyond posting a gif on Twitter of a ticking clock.
