‘Plays into our hands’ – Many Leeds United fans react to claim from Cardiff’s Neil Harris

Cardiff City boss Neil Harris has discussed facing Leeds United when the 2019/20 Championship campaign returns, which has drawn an interesting reaction from many fans of the Yorkshire club.
The Bluebirds were originally scheduled to host Leeds on the 15th of March but the delay to the season has meant that was postponed.
Reports have suggested that the Championship is set to return in June and, speaking to Wales Online, Harris has discussed the prospect of facing the Whites if it does.
NEIL HARRIS:
He said: “We can be successful. I reminded them of just how well we had played in the week leading up to the lockdown, some good results we’d had and the fact we could have, pretty much, a fully-fit squad when we get round to maybe facing Leeds United in a couple of weeks.
“With nine games to go, let’s just have a go. Let’s just have a right go.
“They should embrace every minute of being footballer. It’s one of the best weeks I’ve had, certainly as a manager, but in football, from where we’ve been in the last few months, to be back at The Vale, albeit in smaller numbers and in different groups, has been an absolute privilege and a pleasure.”
Leeds are top of the Championship as things stand, with Cardiff 17 points back in ninth.
Both sides will be determined to ensure they hit the ground running if the season does return, with the Whites chasing promotion and Cardiff hoping to secure a place in the play-offs.
If the clash between the two sides is anything like the reverse fixture at Elland Road, it will make fantastic viewing.
Cardiff came back from 3-0 down to secure a 3-3 draw against Leeds in December – ending the Whites’ seven-game winning run.
Have these 15 current and ex-Leeds United players ever played in the Premier League? Have a go now!
It doesn’t appear Harris is a particularly popular figure among the Elland Road faithful and many Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to voice their thoughts on his latest comments.

If Leeds work out how to clear high balls into the box, we’ll win.
And Cardiff will let the grass grow longer. Swansea complained of that when they played in Cardiff. #lufc

We’ll come out of the blocks in typical Bielsa fashion and they won’t know what’s hit them!
