Neil Harris | “The boys have been absolutely outstanding”

CARDIFF CITY FC

Saturday 30th May 2020

UPDATE:

"Greg Cunningham and striker Isaac Vassell wont be playing again this season, this season is over for them both."

"Lee Tomlin is looking good again and ready to start."

"Mendez-Laing will also now be available."

Neil Harris reflected on the Bluebirds’ first week back in training as he spoke to Cardiff City TV.

The City boss praised the efforts of his coaching and playing staff in getting back up and running at the Vale Resort.

“Being back in the training ground, it’s starting to feel like a football club again,” he began. “And I’m feeling like a football manager again!

“There’s been a lot of discussion between me, my staff and players over the weeks gone by, to make sure everyone feels comfortable in coming back.

“The boys have been absolutely outstanding”

“Nothing changes for us – safety and wellbeing is paramount. But in the safest possible environment, we’re enjoying being back on the pitches again.

“I’ve talked quite a lot about the professionalism, attitude and application of the players during my time in charge. It is even more pivotal now, and the boys have been absolutely outstanding.”
