whatever happened to

whatever happened to football graffiti?
back in the 1970s and 1980s the area around nearly every football ground was covered in graffiti...when was it all cleaned up?
and why is it not around today

i remember it was the thing to turn up early at an away ground and spray cardiff city all over the place

swindon and plymouth spring to mind....newport was aways sprayed with leeds for some reasonl

Good point... i knew someone who painted 'Keeep off the Grange-End' in huge letters up on the M4, only to realise the mistake the next day when they went back to view their handywork..
