TRANSFER WINDOW CHANGES?

Premier League clubs have discussed pushing the opening of the summer transfer window to September, reports the Daily Mail.

With the coronavirus pandemic disrupting the footballing calendar, the proposal would look to move the summer window in line with the start of next season.

It means that instead of opening in June, the window would run through September before closing in early October.

Personally I do not see football as any different to any job

As such players should be free to come and go whenever they want throughout the season (i.e. no window at all).

Yes players will have contracts but if someone wants to pay the appropriate fee why not - will certainly help lower league clubs who have a star on their hands mid season.
