I must rant on about football teams and football players who are bemoaning the fact that the season will resume.
They say they are being put in the firing line, where I say they they are more protected than any other workforce who go out to work for a pittance in comparison.
I myself work in a SEN school where children are un aware of social distancing, have now control on bodily fluids being spread easily and we work with no protection for an annual salary based on a weeks wages of average professionals.
The testing put in place for the players is far more rigorous than NHS staff yet the likes of certain people in the football community, it's not good enough.
We are the ones that pay your salaries whether its subscribing to tv or paying at the turnstiles.
Grow a pair of balls and demonstrate that you in this stupid world can give us something back,by playing and giving us something to look forward to .

Totally agree they should stop whining and get on with it

Any player who doesn’t want to play can 100% be given that option if he so chooses. However, if he goes down that route as he refusing to work he must then forfeit his entire salary

This virus is going to be a big wake up call to many players at all levels

There is going to be a huge hole in every club finances and the money to pay their wages just won’t be available at certain clubs

Players out of contract in July are going to be hit hard in their pockets

Totally agree. Well said. It’s laughable how certain clubs with the most to lose from restarting are playing up at the prospect of doing so. I do understand Troy Deeneys worry for his baby, whose had breathing difficulties, but some of the other players need to take a long hard look at themselves
