Strange how the misspelled surname is the part you find funny? Guess you think boris and his puppets have handled this covid saga well do you? I don't vote for either main party, but am disgusted at the bungled effort of him,and his cronies,I said at the beginning I gave him an 8,now it's a 1!! The 8 was after the 1st week! Since then it's been a complete shambles, with their cocktail ups, costing those who needed protecting (elderly and infirm) their lives.and I don't want to hear the "well no goverment has performed any better,as it caught everyone by surprise" just one instance I'll mention and that's Turkey seem to have faired phenomenally so far! Population 84m, roughly 8m over 70,yet cases on a downward spiral, and less than 5000 deaths to date?? Partial lockdown, that was weaker than ours too.I stand by my view of bungling boris,he's not fit for office!! :old: :bluebird:

Oh dear me. The word you were looking for was Know wasn't it? And you got two letters wrong out of a four letter, one syllable word. Do try to concentrate.

Predictive text will sometimes change a word, but not the Prime Minister's name or your grammar.

Oh dear me, you should have a comma after know, and it shouldn't have a capital k. :laughing6:

Do try and concentrate.

BORIS JOHNSON

Re: Boris Johnstone

Liaison Committee begins questioning of PM
Committee chair Sir Bernard Jenkin welcomes Boris Johnson who is appearing at the committee via video link.

Johnson does not commit to coming back before summer

The first question to Boris Johnson comes from Bernard Jenkin, saying it has been 12 months since a prime minister has appeared before the committee.

He asks Johnson to commit to attending regularly, including before the Commons breaks for the summer.

The PM says the committee is "very kind to want to see me again and more frequently".

But he adds: "Can I possibly get back to you on that, there is a lot on at the moment."

Re: Boris Johnstone

Wed May 27, 2020 3:12 pm

Johnson: Deeply sorry for hurt caused

Sir Bernard says the committee is "extremely concerned" about the issue of Dominic Cummings and asks if it has undermined the moral authority of the government.

Boris Johnson says he is "of course deeply sorry for all the hurt and pain and anxiety that people have been going through through this period".

He says: "I feel that my adviser has had quite a lot of autobiography recently. I have commented on it, people know my views, I don't propose to add to it.

"The public want us to focus on, as far as politicians possibly can, on uniting our message and focusing on their needs."
