My vision for the futrue

OK with another 3 months of Lockdown for us peones in the society this is what I think should be planeed for in the footballing circles:

1. This season should be restarted come September. That of course if it is safe by then. If it is not then the restart should be delayed until it is. The driving factor would be that the season could be finished my next May regardless of when the restart woud be. So yes 1920/21 season would not be recorded in the history books.

2. As someone has asked already what would happen if th season did restart in September therefore ending in December due to only 9 games having to be played. Well if this was the case then I would suggest we have a knockout competition where the Premier teams play against each other and the Championship team play against each other. The winners of the Rremier games would remain in the premier while the losers went into the next round to fight for their status. For the Championship clubs it would be the other way away where the winners would go into the next round to fight for promotion while the losers would remain in the Championship. This could be completed before the next season starts.

I think this is a brilliant idea.

I would go for a FA cup style. Instead of having 2 finals I think I would have a mini league between the 4 remaining teams. Of course that would depend on how much time would be left.
