Hull City have sent a second letter to Derby and their Championship rivals reiterating their opposition to plans to resume the 2019-20 season.

The Tigers became the first Championship club to publicly oppose the restart last week when vice-chairman Ehab Allam sent a letter to the EFL on Tuesday. A second letter has now been penned, The Telegraph reports.

Ahead of the EFL board meeting next Wednesday, Hull's second letter said Championship clubs were being asked to agree to "a game of pass the parcel" while it criticised the governing body's approach to testing.

If the Championship was to restart, fourth-bottom Hull would be battling relegation, with the club in freefall since selling Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki in January.

Deadline set for Derby's response to EFL plan

Derby have been given until Tuesday to give feedback on the EFL's plans to finish the season.

Earlier this week, the EFL put forward their proposal for how any season, unable to be finished, will be completed in the future, including this year if needs be.

The plan includes unweighted points per game to decide the final table, a four-team play-off and relegation and automatic promotion remaining as normal.

Approval of that plan will be written into the EFL's regulations for good, preventing any clubs from complaining or launching legal action in the future.

I bet if Hull were in a play off position instead of where they are the tune would be different..
