Private care homes make £millions, pay peanut wages and give basic care, they should of been trying to buy everything themselves instead of blaming the Govt.

They should take responsibility.

there needs to be an inquiry on how the press report things as well..
this whole virus thing has been sensationalised from day 1 instead of balanced reporting..

It's not about taking responsibility, Wez, Annis.

It should be about the Prime Minister and his cabinet lying about their strategy regards care homes, whereby they were prepared to free up hospital beds by removing elderly, ill with COVID19, back to their care homes to die. Moreover, they specifically told hospitals not to test them and allowed them to integrate and die at the homes.

I would be moaning as a care home worker / owner as well, if I was treated with such disregard and put my health as well as the health of the remaining residents at risk.

you don't think a virus that going to kill 30 odd thousand people who are mostly old with serious existing illness is going to be devastating in places where most old ill people die ordinarily ?

Should there be an inquriy about the governments performance as well? Or should we all just stick to the narrative they are trying their best?
